On March 24-26, 2017, several National Taekwon-Do Black Belts attended an Umpire Course Certification Course lead by Grand Master Nestor Gallaraga the head of the International Taekwon-Do Federation Tournaments and Umpire Committee.  Master Jose Maidana assisted Grand Master Galarraga as an interpreter.  It was a priviledge for all who attended.  The course consisted of over 11 hours of lecture, 3 hours of physical training and culminated in a one day tourament to practice and hone their skills.  Congratulation to Mr. Anthony Bigby, Matt Lepley, Chris Martin, AJ Bigby, Tasha Rose-Murphy, Carter Lawson, Matthew Turner, and Robin Carlson on becoming Internationally Certified Umpires.  Master Suzan Crochet also took advantage of the opportunity to refresher her skills and update her certiification.
